The Vice President of Human Resources (VP of HR) is a strategic leader responsible for driving the people agenda and aligning human capital strategies with organizational goals. Reporting to the Chief Human Resource Officer, this role oversees the Human Resource Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Development teams, ensuring the organization attracts, engages, develops, and retains top talent. The VP of HR will partner closely with senior leadership to shape company culture, enable business growth, and build a high-performing, inclusive workplace.

This position is located at the corporate headquarters in Meridian, Idaho. #LI-Onsite

To be considered for this role, you have:

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of ten years progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience overseeing HRBPs, talent acquisition, and talent management functions.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies to business objectives.
  • Exceptional leadership, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated success in driving cultural transformation, leadership development, and talent management initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

 

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (Two years’ relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college)

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent subject area
  • SPHR/PHR/SHRM Certification

 

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategies. Lead the development and execution of HR strategies that support the company’s business objectives and long-term growth.   Champion a strong, inclusive culture that promotes employee engagement, performance, and retention.
  • Oversee several critical functions including Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs), Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and HR Shared Services.
  • Lead a team of HR professionals across functional areas. Provide guidance, mentorship, and strategic direction to ensure the team delivers high-quality services to the organization
  • Operational Excellence & Compliance - Ensure HR policies, programs, and practices are compliant with applicable laws and regulations. Use HR data and analytics to measure effectiveness of programs, identify trends, and inform decision-making.  Working with the Director of Total Rewards, drive process improvement and leverage technology to create efficiencies across HR functions.
  • Participate in Human Resources related community events and committees to remain current in human resources practices and regulations. Serve as a representative for the company on various committees and organizations within the community related to Human Resources.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Chief Human Resource Officer.
